Within our mission, we state our ultimate goal is to ensure that all children that pass through our program are proficient in reading by 3rd grade. Currently, the Indiana Reading Evaluation And Determination (IREAD-3) assessment is used to measure foundational reading standards to grade 3 students.

According to The Indiana Department of Education, Muncie Community Schools had an average passing rate of 77.7%. Statewide, 3rd grade students had a passing rate of 84%.

Local Evaluator

The MuncieP3 Emerging Scholars Program is evaluated yearly by a Local Evaluator. “Our final evaluation report is available to the public upon request.  Please contact our local evaluator, Dr. Jill Bradley-Levine at jsbradleylev@bsu.edu, to obtain a copy of the final report.”
