~About Mr. Brown~

I was born & raised right here in Muncie, Indiana. I graduated from Muncie South & Indiana Business College which is now known as Harris College. I have been married for 17 yrs and have 2 children, Elijah and E’lia. Some things I enjoy are listening to music, playing video games & watching/playing football and basketball. I am also a die hard Dallas Cowboys and Lakers fan. I strongly enjoy working with kids as I have 23 yrs experience at YOC and I am excited for year 9 with Mp3!

I am Andrea Streaty, the new 3rd grade co-teacher for MP3. I am originally from Texas. I’ve lived in Indiana for 31 years! 

I am married to Jason and we have 2 children, Jaysson and Nya. We also have a furry son, Rocco. In my spare time, I like watching movies, listening to music, and making people laugh! I hold a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Anderson University. I have been an elementary educator for 22 years. This is my second year teaching at Longfellow Elementary. I am excited to be a part of this amazing school and this program. I look forward to contributing to the development of character and building literacy skills for our MP3 scholars.

Hey! I'm Terance Blankenship, the 3rd-grade MP3 aide at Longfellow Elementary. I'm also a student at Ball State University with a major in English Education. In my free time, I love to write music and run Dungeons and Dragons with my friends, largely because I enjoy the community aspect of both things. I believe the best things we do in life are the things we do together. This is something I think kids of all ages can learn to appreciate in the MP3 program and something I'm excited to help show.

Hello!  My name is Katie Hausz. I grew up in New Palestine Indiana. I study Criminal Justice and Criminology at Ball State University. I have a minor in psychology and digital forensics. I like to do art, build Legos and watch crime TV.

The MuncieP3 Emerging Scholars Program is evaluated yearly by a Local Evaluator. “Our final evaluation report is available to the public upon request.  Please contact our local evaluator, Dr. Jill Bradley-Levine at jsbradleylev@bsu.edu, to obtain a copy of the final report.”
